Q: Does Medicare cover the treatments in your office for knee pain and neuropathy?
A: Because we are a medical facility, most of the treatments we provide are 100% covered by Medicare and a supplement.
Before you get started with any treatment, we perform a complimentary insurance check and let you know upfront if you’ll have any out of pocket costs.
Nobody likes surprises when it comes to their healthcare. At Ethos Health Group you’ll always know your best options before proceeding with any course of care.
Q: What can I expect on my first visit?
A: You will be welcomed by a Patient Experience Manager who will get to know you and learn about what activities you want to get back to enjoying.
Then, you’ll see one of our incredible medical providers who will evaluate your condition and determine the best options for you.
Any necessary x-rays or diagnostic testing will be ordered at that time. If you’ve had imaging done already, make sure to bring them with you.
Your medical provider will sit down with your patient experience manager and walk them through the best plan of action for you.
Our patient experience manager will go over your test results, treatment options, and answer any questions you have in detail.
Choosing the right healthcare facility for your knee pain or neuropathy is a big decision, and we want you to feel completely comfortable with your treatment.
Too many doctors these days make you feel like asking questions is a crime and rush you out so they can move to the next patient.
Ethos Health Group believes in combing good, old-fashioned patient care with the latest technology to treat knee pain and neuropathy.
Q: Are the treatments painful?
A: Our patients find that the treatments we do are virtually painless.
When an injection is performed, the area is first numbed so most patients don’t feel much of anything.
At Ethos Health Group, we also use precision image guidance with digital motion x-rays which helps us get the best results and maximize patient comfort.
Q: Do I need a referral from my physician?
A: No, you do not need a referral to become a patient at our office.
Q: How long will it take for me to start feeling relief?
A: Some patients feel relief after their first treatment, but nearly all patients will experience results within a few weeks.
Q: What if I have a knee replacement already?
A: If you’ve had either a total or partial knee replacement, there are certain treatments that we can still safely perform. However, no injections can be performed on knees that have already undergone operations.
With other types of knee surgeries, like meniscus or ACL surgeries, the injections can be performed without any problems, if you’re a good candidate.
Q: What do I need to bring with you on my first visit?
A: Bring your driver’s license, insurance card, medication list, and any medical records you may have that are related to your knee pain or neuropathy.
If you’ve had previous x-rays or MRIs you can bring a copy. If you don’t have them, we can easily obtain these from your doctor or imaging center.
Q: I have “bone on bone” arthritis in my knees, can you help me?
A: Yes, we have helped countless patients with bone on bone arthritis.
While it’s not possible to give you a 25-year-old knee again, we can help you find significant decreases in pain, improvement in function, and in most cases eliminate the need for a knee replacement surgery.
Q: Can your treatments help with a torn meniscus?
A: It depends on the severity of the tear. In most cases, if it’s not a complete tear, we’ve been able to provide substantial knee pain relief and avoid surgery.
Q: How long will the results of treatment last? Do I have to keep coming back in the future?
A: A majority of our knee pain and neuropathy patients find that they do not need to return to our office after they’ve completed their course of care.
This is because we spend a lot of time teaching our patients about anti-inflammatory foods to eat so the body can continue to heal, as well as home exercises or therapies that can help maintain the results of treatment…without having to keep coming back.
However, we do find that a lot of our patients want to pop in from time to time just to get a big hug or bring by some goodies around the holidays (hint: dark chocolate is always a big hit with us)!
Ethos Health Group believes that loving and caring for our patients like they’re family is a great recipe for long term success.
